v1.43 - Quests


Hi there!

New update for Lost For Swords incoming, with loots of additions, improvements, changes and bugfixes, including a new quest system!

Here are the details:

  • Quests! Meet NPCs in your run that will give you quests
  • removed Tripwires (replaced by Amulet Of Ice)
  • endless mode: Monster abilities scale with each loop
  • changed behavior when monster defense resets: only on room exit -> buffs retreat
  • buffed push based effects
  • buffed Infused Sword and Infused Dagger
  • changed Foresight to draw only non-scroll cards
  • changed Claustrophobia to be replaceable
  • nerfed Quartermaster's Belt: decreased upgrade progression of Oil Of Sharpness
  • Common Penance deals fire damage now
  • modified The Joker starting deck to include a Whip
  • allow higher max speed when queuing up actions
  • keep origin spot visible after undo and reload
  • soft-banned Hammers in Paltry Tower, as they are too difficult for beginners, against Lackeys in particular
  • better wordings: use "have" vs. "get" appropriately for effects that modify Attack and Defense values
  • made "One-Shot" a modifier
  • show hint to endless mode on tower screen
  • bugfix: made boss immune during phase changes, which lead to soft locks
  • fixed bug that softlocked player on Shifting Tower boss fight
  • fixed Soaring Shield weapon having melee range icon when it should be ranged
  • internal preparations for multi-savegame support
